Swimming Down Sudder Street

The rains came down
all last night,
But we venture out-
three white girls...
Quite a sight!

Our laughter comes quickly
while the waters are high,
It seems the best option-
it's either that or cry

The locals are scarce,
but we watch for people wading
as us foreigners do.
And down the lane
swim three playful boys,
just passing through.

One hour later
as we finish our food,
through the window we see
the rains will not soon conclude

The debris we now wade through
with pant legs knee high
is disturbing - it's true-
But this is one adventure
we can't let pass by

Hey girls!

It has been great reading about your God-adventures. I know that you will each have some amazing stories to share upon your return.

Blessings to you each!

Sarah, we miss you around home. It is really hot now. What is the temp there? I am so glad you are having fun with Susanta. You 3 girls are amazing and and encouragement to all of us rooted at home. We continue to pray for your adventures.
Love Kathy & Jim and family

Kathy! it's so good to hear from you. It actually hasn't been as hot here as we expected. It's stayed in the 90s for the most part and was in the 70s or so for the past few days during the heavy monsoon rains and flooding. How is everything with the family back home? I miss you all, too. Please tell everyone hi for me! God bless, Sarah
